One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I visited my friend in Brazil, and lived in one of the 'favelas' or slums of rio for 2 months. it was a cool experience. the wiring was so shoody in the apartment that i actually got electrocuted while taking a shower! Some of the people i met there had very little, some didn't even know how they were going to put dinner on the table that day. Ironically, they were also some of the happiest and friendliest people i have ever met. The pollution from the slums in the ocean was so bad i literally got smacked in the face by a turd while surfing. # truestory!
