30 y/o guy, working as an Emergency Dept. Nurse in Madison WI. I have loved traveling since, when I was 10, my dad quit his job, he and my mom sold our house and then we traveled all the way around the world in 7 months. It was during that time that I started drawing constantly and realized that creating art is an important part of my life. It is hard to beat the feeling of moving through space, with a destination on the horizon and a sketchbook in my lap.

When I travel, I like to meet people. Hotels are fine but, to me at least, kind of isolate the traveler from their destination. One hotel is like another, it is better to stay with a local.
I'm on couch surfing to meet hosts so when I do travel I can land a great place to stay and meet a new friend at the same time.

The other day, I convinced my friend (and his dog) to swim a mile down and lazy river with me. It was awesome. Amazing, you might say.
