About Me

I’m a 34-year-old tech professional who recently moved to the beautiful and historic St. Albans. I live with my friendly chihuahua, Ralf, I’m excited to meet new people, explore new places, and share great conversations.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I’m here to meet interesting people, share experiences, and maybe make a few friends along the way. I think Couchsurfing is a great way to connect with travelers who enjoy exploring new places and learning from others. I’m down-to-earth and looking for guests who are easygoing, respectful, and up for a bit of an adventure

Interests

I’m passionate about learning Spanish, especially picking up slang — “pedo” is my current favorite! I enjoy cooking and would love to learn how to make a simple and tasty dish from someone’s home country. I’m always up for a great conversation to get a new perspective on life, and I’ve still got some skills from my video gaming days. Around St. Albans, you’ll often find me at Verulamium Park walking my dog or catching a game at St. Albans City Football Club.

Music, Movies, and Books

I’m a big fan of The Lord of the Rings (book and movie!) and The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy(book not movie!).
When it comes to music, I’m into UK hip-hop but have a love for all genres. I appreciate anything with a good beat, lyrics that make you think, or a story that transports you.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I recently completed a 1,000+ km motorbike trip around Northern Thailand with friends, embracing the thrill of adventure and the beauty of open roads.

Teach, Learn, Share

I’m trying to get better at Spanish, so if you speak it, I’d love to practice with you! I’m also keen to learn how to cook a great dish from your country, so if you want bring your best recipe and a shopping list! In return, I can offer good company, a genuine conversation, and i’m sure most things you need to enjoy your trip.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Emotional blackmail! I will donate $10 per night to a charity of your choice! muahaha - seriously tho I will do that but I’m also a courteous clean respectful guest and love meeting new people.
