Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am somewhat new to Couchsurfing but have always thought that the best way to get to know a new place is to spend time with the locals and discover what life is like away from the tourists. I desire real, genuine experiences and connections with people from all over the world, and this seems like a great way to do that.

Music - just about anything besides hard rock and metal. Some of my favorites are Ed Sheeran, U2, Mumford and Sons, and Dispatch.

Movies - The Shawshank Redemption, Good Will Hunting, Slumdog Millionaire, The Hangover to name a few.

Books - I mostly read non-fiction, but did enjoy LOTR, Hunger Games, Harry Potter
