About Me
G'day! My partner Ha Ly and I are off on an adventure and we're keen to make new mates along the way. We'd be grateful to tag along for a day, catch-up for tea/coffee or just generally explore your city with you.
We've both had pretty busy lives, having done all sorts of work: from farm work to finance, from barista to business management, from shoe salesman to surveyor. We'd be over the moon to hear about your life, hobbies and endeavours.
Super keen on food/culinary 🍲🦆🍞🥙☕ Ha Ly used to be a barista and I used to bake and sell bread
Love to meet new people 💃🕺👋 I'll chat to anyone and Ha ly is studying psychology
Generally just enjoy learning, discussing new ideas and pushing our comfort zones ⛰️🚵📖👨🎓🧠 Ha Ly loves painting and general art while I'm really into startups and entrepreneurship. Well definitely hit a few art galleries and I'll be dropping into the local startup hubs.
We haven't made any solid plans so far, so if you're around we'd be love to catch-up or come visit you :)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Couchsurfing seems like the perfect combination of my love of meeting new people, my desire to see places through the eyes of locals and my rapidly decreasing savings.
I also feel hostels/hotels can ruin traveling, they allow you to visit a country for a month without meeting anyone who actually lives there; which for me, defeats the purpose of traveling at all.
