my name is Patrick. I am currently studying in Erfurt, Germany. I am a passionate traveler who wants to see the world not from the eyes of a tourist, but from the perspective of the local people. I think the best and the most authentic way to experience a new country is to meet local people, and Couchsurfing is a great way to meet and connect with them.

Interests

I love to learn about and experience new countries, and that doesn't mean just doing all the sightseeing tours, but also meeting locals and seeing thier country from their point of view. I am also very passionate about learning foreign languages, as of right now I speak German, English and Spanish, and I am learning Russian and French. I also like to read a lot.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have lived in Costa Rica now for almost a year, and so far it has been amazing. I just love the culture, the lifestyle, and all the great places Costa Rica has to offer. Here I really get an inside look into the culture and the everyday life of the people, and how it is different from the life in Germany.
