About Me
PLEASE READ MY HOME SITUATION TO MAKE SURE YOU KNOW WHAT YOU ARE SIGNING UP FOR! :)
My guests will get to know Philadelphia (Philly), the city of brotherly love. I love showing people around the Philadelphia area such as great bars (IF YOU'RE LOOKING TO GET TRASHED, YOU SHOULD FIND ANOTHER SURFER to stay with, I don't drink much), places to relax out in the sun, touristy attractions, and how to live like a local! I absolutely love trying different cuisines and different types of food. The city is a great way to experience all kinds of foods and Philly is amazing because the food is not too expensive!
They call me the "mind and muscle doc" probably because I'm the most intelligent, best looking guy out there (sarcasm). I am very laid back and easy to get along with~ I really don't believe in owning much to experience life maximally without being trapped in a consumeristic society. Constantly learning from cultures, people, and becoming more aware of how people are operating all over the world.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
To meet people globally, learn more about cultures, ways of life, food you eat, beliefs/values, and house those who may need housing in the Philadelphia area.
Interests
Music (Acoustic Guitar, Electric Guitar, Body beat-boxing, Piano) I love listening to other people play music, Tennis, Ping-pong, badminton, volleyball, weightlifting, powerlifting, boxing, dragon boating, doing outdoors stuff, looking for adventures, having a very relaxed time enjoying life in front of our own eyes (we are without excuse to recognize the beauty of this Earth!)
Music, Movies, and Books
Music: Post-modern rock, Ambient, Blues, Alternative Rock, Country, Christian, occasionally Taylor Swift, and tropical house
Movies: The Intouchables, Gifted Hands, Mildred Pierce, Pan's Labyrinth (anything with cinematographic excellence or inspirational)
Books: C.S. Lewis, St. Augustine, lots of literature to constantly learn from (I can be a nerd, occasionally)
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Climbed Mendehall Glacier with no equipment. Just a north face, thermal, some Cole Haan chukka boots, and my Evian water bottle 😂
Teach, Learn, Share
Teach: Mind, body, massage, guitar, getting rich off crypto currency
Learn: About how to live life with an open mind, humanness of mankind
Share: Life experiences, food
What I Can Share with Hosts
I'd love to share life with you if it means you'd like to grab a meal together, we could grab a drink, walk around the city and explore! I am always up for having people stay with me, and I have no problem with you coming into my life! I'm extremely clean and orderly so I won't get in the way as much as possible. I'm a minimalist so usually for long trips I only pack a backpack and a man purse 😂. I can offer you an acoustic guitar performance, talk about heavy things and the meaning of life over a cup of tea, and good company 😁
