About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To find the true answer to the Tootsie-Pop thing...that owl was a jerk and bit it. Hardly a lick Mr. Owl...

ABOUT ME

This is kind of a "What would you like on your tombstone?" kind of question. Well, the answer (as expected) is pepperoni and cheese.

Ok ok...friends would say that I'm fiercely loyal, compassionate, always happy to listen, empathetic, someone who loves laughter more than anything and that I'm always on a quest for new knowledge, places to see, and experiences to well...experience. I'm a lover of life, great people, and happiness.

PHILOSOPHY

We only get one. And it's short. In the words of Ewan McGregor (Trainspotting)...Choose Life.

Interests

Music. Music. Music. Besides that, I absolutely love reading and watching movies of any kind. I love all of those things for so many reasons, but more than any other, I love those things because I believe they have the power to take your mind to a place where it's just you as a spectator (and often a participant) in whatever story is being told. We live in a fast world that is only getting faster and sometimes a good distraction is just what the doctor ordered.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Thing One) I don't know of any feeling that compares to that of attending a Sigur Ros show. I can't see enough concerts but their shows hit me right in the gut (in the best way imagineable) every single time.

Thing Two) The scene in Crash where the little girl runs outside to give her dad the "invisible impenetrable cloak" and you think she gets shot when she jumps into his arms to protect him was one of the most moving things I've ever seen. I found myself with my hand over my mouth not breathing for a moment and couldn't believe what I was watching. I guess those kinds of moments are the ones that stand out most for me, when the sheer force with which something so beautiful is presented hits you hard enough to put your mind in a whole other dimension. It said three things right?

Thing Three) When I realized how much more I enjoyed cupcakes once I started putting the bottom half onto the top. Cupcake sandwiches changed my life. I recommend that you let them change yours, too. You can thank me later.
