Hello,

I am Patrick, an easy going and interested guy! I grew up in the Rhineland in the western part of Germany. For those who haven't heard of it, it is the part were Carnival is heavily celebrated. However, I decided against this tradition and moved to Hamburg, the most beautiful city in Germany. I am interested in cultures, sports and history!

I love cycling, I love spending short trips on my bike and I love to meet up with new people! It is my way out of my everyday life. Apart from the cities, you'll always get a Image of the nature and the countryside between those. It's one of the best things to come from a hard day on the bike and spend the evening with locals. Until now I had unforgettable evenings in Nottingham, Lübeck and Sheffield. Looking forward to a few more this year :-)

兴趣

Apart from cycling, I also like swimming and running. Yep, you get the idea I am competing at triathlons. I really enjoy this sport, as I am mostly training outside! Also you will met crazy guys, that have crazy ideas and challenge you.

Apart from this, I like to get in touch with other cultures and am willing to understand them. Be it weapon crazy americans, pro-Brexit Britains or surveillance afraid chinese, always interesting to here stories from a different angle.

In 2016, I had an internship in the near of Manchester quite close to the Peak district. One day, I decided that I want to travel through the Peak district by bike and as labour day came up, a national Holiday in the UK, the perfect opportunity appeared. I started in Macclesfield and was riding all the way to a beautiful landscape to Nottingham. Over here I had such a great host, who had already cooked for me and had time to show me around. In the evening we went out into a local Pub and had a pleasant night!
