About Me
Hey guys! I am from the good ol' U S of A but haven't really lived there since I graduated university seven years ago. Spent a few years living and teaching in South Korea and now trying my hand at teaching history to China's best and brightest in Beijing.
Overall, I am a real easy-going traveller but by no means consider myself an "expert," whatever that would even mean. I am just here to soak up new places and hop around to as many spots that this weird planet will allow me to visit while I am still am young (ish)! Give me a unique historical site or a nice cold local brew and I am a happy camper. If I can somehow combine the two then even better!
Look forward to meeting you guys out there!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I love to travel whenever I can and of course enjoy the excitement of exploring a new place. I consider myself a bit of a glutton (definitely not a foodie) who always enjoys trying whatever different cultures have to offer in the culinary department. That enthusiasm also extends to the field of beer and liquor as well, so if there is a strange local beverage (non-alcoholic as well!), I will welcome the experience. These things are always better when shared with others, so hopefully CouchSurfing will help me find people to do just that.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I ate a really big cheeseburger and then was able to drink some of the free beer pitcher that was a reward for finishing.
