Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Currently, my couch is available and I'm hosting others, but this coming year I hope to crash on many couches!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've only hosted once - but it was an awesome and enriching experience. I love the idea of like-minded, adventurous and caring people working together to make connections with one another.

Music, Movies, and Books
This could go on forever, so I'll keep it short, and genre-based:
Movies - anything Tarantino or Cohen bros. Old sci-fi, Blaxploitation films, and, of course, The Big Lebowski
Music - Jazz! (Bebop to Fusion), Classical, Blues, Reggae, Afrobeat, Old-school Hip-Hop, Grunge, Classic Rock (although I'm a bit burnt out on this now).
Books - anything intelligent or well-written.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Bioluminescent Bay in Vieques, PR - amazing!
Also, I have touched the skin of a "mummified" crusader in a crypt in Ireland.
Kayaked through the Sognefjord in Norway.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you some guitar (if you have one lying around, as I won't be traveling with one). I can also cook you a meal (although I can't promise how good it will be) or bring a bottle of wine (this I am much better at!).
I'm always up for learning a few phrases in languages I do not know - French or German, as this will help me in my travels.
