My name is Patrick and I live in a city called Karlsruhe in the South of Germany. While I'm a German citizen and grew up here, I have a Vietnamese and Chinese background. I'm an open-minded person, I love travelling and meet new people. Currently I'm a Master Student majoring in Computer Science and studied Industrial Engineering and Management before. During my leisure time I like exploring new place, capture photos and am a passionate breakdancer. I'm looking forward to get to know you!

Music, Movies, and Books

My favourite music is oldschool hip hop music, funk and RnB. But I also enjoy various kinds of music while I'm out and I'm always open to dance to new music genres :-)

I like books about inspiring people such as Steve Jobs, Elon Musk, Marc Cuban or Peter Thiel and stories of startups like the twitter story ( Hatching Twitter) or "How google works". Also, I'm always looking forward to learn new this in books and hence also enjoy self-improvement books such as "The Compound Effect" or "The power of habits".

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One the best decisions I made was to go for a year abroad to Australia during my undergrad / Bachelor's studies. It was a big jump for me to fly literally to the other side of the globe but it was worth every hour sitting in the plane. I spent nearly one year studying in Newcastle, a 2-3 hour ride from Sydney. I met so many new friends from countries all over the world, lived for the first time close to the beach and got to know one of the most beautiful countries of the world #biased. During that year I travelled to New Zealand and 5 of the 6 territories of Australia. One of the best experiences I made!
