About Me
Hello, welcome to my profile!
I never used to care much about visiting other countries but that all changed a couple of years ago...
In the summer of 2016, I visited Hong Kong and China which I absolutely loved doing. Having Dim Sum every day after practicing in the park early in the morning is my kind of life. I could only experience that for 10 days in total (4 in HK) but I vowed that I would go back and stay for much longer.
Hopefully, you'll see that I'm a genuine guy, just wanting to make some friends in a beautiful region. If you're a host in HK reading this, please ask me any question you want to know. I would be very happy to answer :)
Thanks for reading and I hope to chat with you soon.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'd like to have a place to stay in Hong Kong as well as connect with some warm hearted people along the way and make friends.
Interests
I have been practicing traditional Chinese Kung Fu and Qigong for the past 6 years in London and have also been learning Cantonese for the past 2 years.
- chinese food
- manga
- kung fu
- qi gong
- cantonese
Music, Movies, and Books
Nowadays, I have very flexible musical tastes but I grew up mainly on rock music. That has stayed with me and so my favourite bands right now are Muse, Foo Fighters and 30 Seconds to Mars.
Also listening to more Cantonese music to help with my language learning!
I love to read Japanese manga, my all time favourites are One Piece, Full Metal Alchemist and Death Note.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I have once eaten Wagyu beef. It's the best thing ever.
Teach, Learn, Share
As a certified Qigong instructor, I can teach you some exercises that can help with your health and can also teach English and Portuguese!
I'd love to learn what life is like for local Hong Kongers and find out about hidden gems no one else knows about.
I'd like to share our love of food and talk about the kind of music we like, even a little bit of philosophy if you're into that.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I feel that a guest should show only the upmost respect to their host. I would of course keep my own things neat and tidy and always offer to help with housework such as cleaning dishes or helping to prepare the food or vacuuming the floor. If I forget to offer (highly unlikely), please ask!
