About Me

Born and raised in California and have been going to school in San Diego for the past four years. Everywhere I've been traveling, I'm seeking to explore the natural landscapes. I've spent the past few summers in Yosemite National Park backpacking and recently a bit of rock climbing - the best way to get your exercise. I love playing music, making art, surfing, hangin', etc.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm a (broke) recent graduate from college trying to see as much of the world as I can over the next few years, and Couchsurfing seems like both the most fun and authentic way to get there while meeting cool people along the way. I've really enjoyed being able to get a look at life in a new place through the eyes of hosts, and it is an extremely memorable experience.

Music, Movies, and Books

I'll mess with just about every genre except for country. I love Mac Demarco, the White Stripes, Fleet Foxes, Tame Impala...I also love any fresh, interesting hip-hop/soul action (D'Angelo, Thundercat, Anderson .Paak, Kendrick, etc).
Kurt Vonnegut is the man, love his writing style. My favorite book I've read though is "A Thousand Splendid Suns" by Khaled Hosseini.
I've been a documentary kick lately, trying to learn as much as I can about my interests. Anything that can teach me something new.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Climbed Half Dome in Yosemite!
