I think couchsurfing is a great opportunity to meet locals. I like to travel and get to know new places out of the touristpath.

Music:
nearly everything from latinamerica (reggaeton gives me a headache), psychodelic rock and stoner music, good old german hip hop, i like techno (no edm) but only in clubs, flamenco, jazz, folklore... and many many more
Movies:
The best movies are outside of the living room/cinema
