ABOUT ME

I would like to think that friends would say I was easy going, had a good sense of humour, into trying new experiences and probably try to live life to the full. I love socialising and having fun but also like to chill out too!

I enjoy a bit of gardening mainly growing veg or herbs and love cooking sometimes using my own produce

Life is for living and would try my hand to anything (well nearly )Not scared of a challange and adventure!!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Initially joined to see what its all about - interesting to see all the different profiles. love meeting new people and hopefully get to meet some new friends when we start our travels in 2015.
Would love to return to England and be able to carry on contact with people and hopefully host couch surfers ourselves.

Interests

I spend a lot of time with my wife and we walk, cycle and are now taking scuba diving together, currently taking Advanced Open Water level with a plan to do more! We love the outdoors and often try to find the next adrenaline rush activity or adventure to do! We are Non Smokers! I play football to the standard of a spectator lol, read a fair bit - allsorts, love music - most types

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

No1 - because it left me speechless and few things have done that, the other two that follow left me screaming, it has to be the balloon flight over the Nile first thing in the morning - Luxor behind us, the Nile to the sides and the Temple of Hatshepsut in front - in absolute silence - me included!
No2 - Not so speechless was the White Shark Cage Diving in South Africa
No3 - Loudest of Alllllll - the Tandem Skydive in Cuba

Teach, Learn, Share

I have specialist knowledge about allsorts of stuff. I have devised equipment at work, am reasonably well educated, am good at problem solving - give me a problem and I will try to help - honest!
My wife, Liz and I are starting to learn Spanish and Liz can speak a little French too.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I live in a 3 bedroomed house in Grimsby town. Can offer your own room, shared bathroom, use of internet and kitchen. weekends are usually free so could show you around but in the week busy at work. Travelling 2015 and some of 2016 so won't be able to host then sorry.
