Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I couchsurfed with friends 4 times across the USA then in Peru and Brazil - loved it and when i have a couch again I would like to give back to the community and get hosting

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

So far the couchsurfing I did across North and South America has been brilliant, a great way to meet some awesome people you wouldn't normally have a chance of hanging out with. Also it's awesome to get to know about a place from a non-tourist perspective. I would love to host Couchsurfers when next with a stable home in UK

Interests

Travelling, experiencing and learning about other cultures and meeting people from all over! Sportswise I love cycling and playing football

Music is my main interest, I love all styles and finding new artists. I collect and DJ vinyl records owning around 600 and play guitar and sing (badly) also. Love a good festival, gig or party!

Music, Movies, and Books

I love all styles of music, really everything from blues to hip hop, heavy metal to techno, african styles to folk etc etc! I'm also into literature and cinema - which I studied at University. There are way too many favourites to list or name but i'm always up for a good discussion on these topics. I also appreciate photography and street art.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Becoming a regular on the UK Music Festival circuit over 10 years ago now changed my life, the likes of Glastonbury, Secret Garden Party etc and the sheer musical and artistic ability that goes into these events inspired myself and three friends to start our own business and bring something to the scene: Once In A Blue Moon Cafe - check it out ;)

Travelling and Volunteering abroad has been another massive inspiration for me. Experiencing the incredible nature and different cultures that exist all over the world is something I would love to continue to do as much as possible throughout my lifetime

Teach, Learn, Share

I could teach anyone the basics of guitar and DJing, also would very willingly share music knowledge and recommendations from across all genres and often up for chatting about anything travel or festival related
