About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To make St Andrews a more progressive, diverse place open to all! (gotta start small now folks!)
ABOUT ME
I'm a long-time traveller and member of Couchsurfing who has been a little bit too sedentary of late! Recent Social Anthropology and Spanish graduate who is now involved in student politics as the President of the St Andrews Uni Students Association.Open-minded, progressive and a wee bit adventurous as well!
PHILOSOPHY
I try to live my life in a moral way, sticking to principles of community, democracy, equality, human rights, social justice, etc. Also try to be open-minded to the views of others and promote mutal respect and dialogue.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Have mostly surfed in Latin America and a bit in Spain, where I met some fantastic people and had some great experiences. Can't always host because have been in student housing, but now more possibilities and always up for meeting meeting for a drink or coffee and showing them around St Andrews or Glasgow if I'm around...Have participated in a few couchsurfing meet-ups in my time, from Edinburgh to Montevideo!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Had a fantastic time couch-hopping in Granada a few years ago, and have made a few good friends through Couchsurfing in Latin America, especially Argentina....

Teach, Learn, Share
Teach: Mmm, I speak Spanish and French, which isn't bad for a Scot, but is fairly normal for all you wondeful internationals who are great at languages, so could pass that on.Am a fairly decent cook, and like to think I know my stuff on the political front and should be able to wax lyrically about anthropology and a four-year degree! Unfortunately one of my greatest current skills, running, isn't really transferable!Learn:Share:
