ABOUT ME
I grew up in Chilliwack, B.C. which is a town of about 80,000 people about 1.5 hours from Vancouver, but I moved to Vancouver for university and in February 2016 I moved to Zhongshan, China for work with a company that does supervision of mainland China works for international construction projects. I am still happily in Zhongshan, but am hoping to go on another backpacking trip in the summer of 2018. Since 2011 I have spent 26 months backpacking - split between 4 trips - and have lived in Ankara, Turkey (only for 4 months during a semester abroad at Uni) and Zhongshan, China.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have couch surfed only once, in Paris, but have met up with people from couch surfing a few times while in Eastern Europe, and I have discussed Vancouver and traveling with many couch surfers that were planning to come and visit. I have accepted people to stay at my place (when I had a couch to spare) but unfortunately both people ended up changing their travel plans and not coming.
