I've been getting lost, making friends, and finding everything I need along roads for about 10yrs now.

Haven't been active on Couchsurfing for a good while, but with my upcoming trip this summer to the other side of the world 😏 I just thought, maybe this'd be a good thing to update a bit 😉

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To travel, see old friends, make new ones, and write about it.

I travel during the summer and sometimes hostin during Winter.

While I do prefer an older "word of mouth," or more personal style of networking usually, "couchsurfing.org" has definitely been a great experience on several occasions.

Interests

I'm a writer by nature and necessity. I enjoy learning new things on guitar, but it definitely takes more effort for me.

I work hard, and find ways to be useful to the people around me ...and I like that about me 🙂

I Love Art. Art markets, art museums, artsy people... all of it .
Make more art for me to look at 🥰

I drink socially, am thinking that I should quit cigarettes, and it's gotta be a pretty specifically special situation for any other mind or mood altering substances. I like to keep my head about me 😉

I think I'm fun 😊😅
I'm learning to deal and accept the difficulty of life by finding the things worth living for.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

"One?"

I've explored some deep questions within myself,
seen the Redwoods up close,
climbed the second tallest (or third) mountain in The Rockies,
fallen in love with people and cultures that I had never met before,
kayaked on The Ohio,
walked down the western U.S. coast,
walked most of the way up the eastern coast,
got published in a couple of books,
learned to play guitar,
experienced the kindness and generosity of strangers,
... And in so doing all of this, perhaps I've even acquired a bit of lasting hope for myself and the rest of the world too.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I am greatly appreciative of the folks whom let me stay on their couch, in a spare room, or even have a floor to offer. And it gives me great satisfaction to return kindness in the way of any chores or what not that might need done.
