About Me
*****
Currently interning in Hamburg, therefore can't host unfortunately.
*****
I'm from Germany and am a genuine and sociable guy.
After high school I volunteered for half a year in Nicaragua at the organisation La Mariposa in La Concha, which was an unforgettable experience. (Check out my blog: nicatrick.tumblr.com ;) )
Then, back in 2013 I started studying maths in Kaiserslautern, one of the reasons why was that I wanted a new challenge which it definitely was. :D The first three semesters completed I could need some change and spent half a year in Sheffield in England as an Erasmus student, from where I came back in early 2015. In January of this year I just came back from spending the first semester of my Master's degree on exchange in Singapore - what a tremendous time!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Cause I love to meet people and experience new stuff. And I like the straightforward concept of couchsurfing. I was so looking forward to my first couch-experiences and they have all exceeded my expectations!
For me, it would be such a pity not participating in this great community, now that the internet makes it all possible.
Interests
Generally speaking, I like sports, such as football, table tennis and skiing, I enjoy reading and languages, listening to music and drawing and of course socialising and learning new stuff. However, one thing is missing in this list, that I really want to learn in the future: Playing the piano.
Didn't mention travelling cause it's too obvious... ;p

Music, Movies, and Books
I listen to all kinds of music, from acoustic stuff like William Fitzsimmons or Alin Coen Band to rap like Eminem or Kollegah. From time to time I enjoy exploring classical music.
My personal Couchsurfing-Anthem is "Casa Abierta" by the fabulous Duo Guardabarranco - check it out (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V2dhUSQh-2E)! Absolutely wanna listen to more spanish music, though. Any recommendations are welcome! ;)
Don't watch a ton of movies, normally I just read nonfiction.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Basically the whole time in Nicaragua was really amazing, don't want to miss one second!
Teach, Learn, Share
Those three words really stick together:
When you teach you also learn, learning is worthless without using it, i.e. sharing it and teaching is one form of sharing.
I personally like to teach, if I consider myself to be in the position to do so (used to give extra lessons in maths and english). And I LOVE to learn. Life would be so boring without - and even more boring without the possiblity to share, be it stories, a smile or just one's presence.
What I Can Share with Hosts
For sure my good nature. :D
I'm not extremely good at cooking, but I'm more than happy to try over and over again and am always willing to lend a hand. Or even two. ;)
