About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To never settle down, never grow complacent, and share the world with everyone I encounter.

ABOUT ME

I am an adventurer by nature. I stay very busy with work but every couple of years I tend to drop everything and find a new spot in the world to explore. I eventually intend on either making enough money to retire or decide that money is unimportant and retire. Either way my final goal is to finish my life out traveling and exploring the world. The only conclusion I can come to is that the "person I am" is someone who must always keep moving... meeting people... figuring new things out... challenging myself... broadening my horizons... and seeing what else is out there. I should mention that I have a cat. He is very sweet but if you are allergic this might not be the place for you.

PHILOSOPHY

Life is for the finer things. I am willing to spend a lot of money on a good meal but hard pressed to spend it on a new shirt. I have found that the destination is not as important as the journey so I try and not make too many solid plans. Direction is important, but how you get there should be negotiable.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am somewhat new to Boston so I am excited to continue exploring it. I live alone so I am hoping some couch surfers will want to stay with me and explore the city together.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have been hosting people off and on for the last few years and love it. I started couch surfing in Brazil for the first time during World Cup and now I will continue to do it every time I travel.

Interests

EVERYTHING! I love new experiences. I like to snowboard, hike, climb, raft, camp, whatever. I also enjoy urban exploring, good beer/wine/liquor, new types of food. I love to read/write and am often inspired by my travels. I like long road trips and enjoy driving long distances. I am an animal lover as well and have a really awesome cat (Winston Churchill).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I stood with my toes hanging over the cliffs of the Giant's Causeway in Northern Ireland and felt the entire world swirl around me.

Teach, Learn, Share

I am a writer and am always looking to share my writing and read what others have written. I have found traveling to be a great source of inspiration on that front and I love to workshop. I have a voracious appetite for knowledge and new experiences and believe there is something to be learned from everyone I come across.
