Overview
About Me
Hi, I'm Patrick! I'm 22, I like to cook and I have a beard. Oh, and I'm a medical student currently using my free time (which is rare) to do some travel!
I was raised bilingually (German/Russian). I like being around fun-loving, happy people who are interested in many things and who love humans enough to enjoy their little quirks when meeting strangers. I love sunny days, music and playing chess. I hate waking up too early and I prefer black tea over coffee, meat over salad, potatos over noodles and vodka over beer :)
CURRENT MISSION
Always looking on the bright side of life!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm on here because I like the initial concept of CS. Couchsurfing is the best blend of making usage of new media and getting to know local people faster during our travels and escaping tourist sites. It cultivates hospitality, friendship and makes sharing our lives real. It enables us to "Do as Romans do, when in Rome".
Interests
I like to learn, in general. About languages, people, politics and history. I like to eat a lot and hang around people who are active and can be spontanous, who can be dead serious and laugh about themselves. I talk too much about medicine and field related topics when I got down to it, so feel free to interrupt me haha

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Seeing more growth in taking risks than in anything else has brought me to Hungary for two years and given me a tonful of good and bad life experience. It was the start of a long walk to freedom.
Teach, Learn, Share
I really want to learn how to play the guitar (doing so as of April 2016 finally) which I have procrastinated for a long time, as I am a piano player originally and keep pushing the strings on the guitar down too much.
Spanish is definitely one language on my "to do" list as I want to take advantage of my Latin knowledges. Additionally, it is useful to know a Roman language for a change, too, as it will open my eyes to a more fun-loving and spontanous way of living, I imagine.
