About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Travel the world, see and learn about new cultures , visit the last remaining uninhabited areas of wilderness and open my mind up to new ideas and ways of thinking.

ABOUT ME

I'm outgoing and I love to meet new people. I feel I can talk to anyone and find it easy to make new friends. I'm open to new adventures and like to listen to people's traveling stories. I was born in the U.S but I've also lived in Ecuador and currently live in Brazil. Moving around so much has made me an open-minded guy and I hope I can meet interesting new people that can add something to my life. I like hanging out with people and if I have time I would be more than happy to show couchsurfers around the island.

PHILOSOPHY

Life is a roller-coaster. There are high and low times but it's always a unique experience that can't be lived twice. You have to take advantage of each day because time goes on and never comes back.
The world is to big to stay in one spot forever and I believe each place has unique and interesting things that are worth visiting.
Traveling is the best way to spend money, each trip gives you loads of experiences that can teach you so many things.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am currently hosting people at my house. I plan on surfing sometime in the future but for the moment I'll just be receiving surfers.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I believe couchsurfing should be about sharing experiences with someone and really getting to know them. My ideal CS experiences are just being able to hang out and really become friends with the people I meet.
I also don't think CS should just be about finding a free place to sleep.

Interests

I like the outdoors and if the weather is nice I'm up for hiking a nice mountain or trekking to hidden beaches on the island. Nature is amazing and it's always great to get away from the city and just relax in the wild.
I like going out to the beach and just hanging out with people I can get along with.
It's always nice to get together with friends or couchsurfers and cook something up, eating together can be great experience.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like films that aren't typical Hollywood blockbusters. Trainspotting, Clockwork Orange, Fear of Loathing, Requiem for a Dream, nature and social documentaries, 2001 Space Odyssey, The Wall, 12 Monkeys, Fight Club are all films I really like.
I read a lot of books that have to do with social sciences and also like Russian literature.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have gone backpacking to the Amazon Rainforest, the Andes mountains, Galapagos Islands and a crazy canyon place called Chapada de Diamantina in Bahia.

Countries I’ve Visited

Argentina, Brazil, Chile

Countries I’ve Lived In

Brazil, Ecuador, United States
