Overview
About Me
I am a freelance filmmaker based out of Richmond, Virginia. I've lived here for about six years now. I was born and raised in Nothern Virginia and then moved down to Richmond in 2010 to attend VCU. During college I started working as a camera assistant on local commercial shoots and have been doing it ever since. I started my own production company a little over a year ago and have been making somethings I can say I'm proud of.
Traveling is one way that feeds my creativity. Being able the meet new people and experience their surroundings through their eyes is where i derive most of my enjoyment for travel. Coach surfing seems like a great little community and I hope to give as much as I take. I'm very new to it so I'm hoping for the best but I guess I have yet to see.
I'm very easy to get along with and relatively neat. I would be eternally grateful to anyone who would choose to house me and show it in any way I can. I think experiencing local night life in any new place is a must, the more strange the better.
Sorry I don't have any references! Just started using coach surfing and I got to start somewhere.

Music, Movies, and Books
It's hard for me to pick a favorite movie. It's a flavor of the week kind of thing. This week's would probably be Spartacus (1960).
I'm in the the middle of watching 'The Wire' right now. I have avoided spoilers thus far by some miracle.
In the middle of reading five books. Not because I'm some sort of scholar but because I have a horrible attention span.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I made Tom Hanks late for the DC Christmas tree lighting last year.
Teach, Learn, Share
For a short time, I taught university students some of the finer points of filmmaking. If you would have any interest in learning any aspect of the process I'd be more than happy to teach what I know.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Anything short of the shirt off my back. I know that allowing someone into your home is an extremely kind gesture. In return I'd like to help clean around the house and possibly make a meal or two (it usually turns out for the best).
Countries I’ve Visited
Canada, France, Germany, Norway, Portugal, South Korea, Switzerland
