About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Meeting interesting and open minded people from all over the world.

ABOUT ME

I was born and raised in Austria and lived there for most of my live until I moved to London in 2020. Not the best year to move but it has been quite an experience. During my studies I have traveled the world quite a bit, lived 6 months in Bangalore, India, and another semester in Montpellier, France.

I am a positive and confident person who is always eager to meet like minded people who want to live life to the fullest. :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

When I travel I don't want to be a tourist who takes pictures of the most important sights and then leaves again. Instead, I want to experience the place and its people on a deeper level, meet fun people and maybe even find friends abroad.

I am very open minded and prepared for new experiences, so I will probably say yes to most new adventure.

Interests

I used to play the drums in a heavy metal band when I was younger. Recently started playing a bit again (things you do in lockdown). I also like doing many different types of sports but nothing to the extreme. Recently got into yoga as well.

Music, Movies, and Books

I listen to many different genres of music because I need different music for different emotional states. I can enjoy chilled house vibes, reggea music and French hip hop just as much as loud hardcore punk and heavy metal music when the mood is right.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Living half a year in India:

There I studied a term at IIM Bangalore, did an internship with an Indian IT-Company to help them sell their app for school buses, volonteered to help in an Indian orphanage for some days, interviews people in the slums about their life style to develop an inclusive business model with colleages at IIMB.

Teach, Learn, Share

I work in Data Science, combining statistics and informatics with domain knowledge (marketing and business sense) to learn from data. It is an exciting and rapidly growing occupation, which I really love to pursue. In case you are interested I am always willing to share my experience in the field.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I am a fun and optimistic person to hang out with. Generally I don't do couchsurfing for the couch only but in order to get to know my host and perhaps his friends and other couchsurfers. This means you will not see me just using your couch but I will try my best to enrich your day.

In case you host me I would enjoy cooking and spending the evenings together. If you play music, I might join playing some drums (if available) and if you want to go out I am somebody who is totally prepared to party hard with you and your friends. :D

Finally, I will love to host you on my couch in London.
