About Me

March 2016: Living in Switzerland now!

If u would like to surf my couch, please take a moment and write me a personal message. I know Bern is an expensive city and probably u r sending lots of copy and paste requests. But if it doesn't matter where u sleep, I advice u to take a hotel. I will not reply to copy and paste requests anymore.

CURRENT MISSION

meet interesting people, make friends, learn new things, run after happiness

ABOUT ME

I love audio books since I have a car (I discovered the car is the best place to listen for me) and dancing tango is like immerging into another universe. My priority is creating life so that it is worth living. Isn't this an art for itself? I like many different people and enjoy having friends from different parts of the world: they can tell me so much more than books about their countries. As a human being I enjoy company and of course, as everybody on this site, TRAVELLING:)

What is there to write? Talk to me and find out!
I like interesting, funny people. Can be a little crazy. I like unforseen events and making new friends by coincidence, I also like random parties and long long talks until the sun rises....

PHILOSOPHY

probably: "tutto va come deve andare", so everything goes as it is supposed to go.

or: "nie ma tego zlego co by na dobre nie wyszlo", which is Polish and means: there is nothing bad that will not turn into sth good in the end. Cheerful, isn't it?

or: "do smialych swiat nalezy"= Polish for: the world belongs to the brave ones. On implementing this I am working hard.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

When I was living in Munich I had a guest who, after a few days, announced he would not like to leave my flat anymore. He said it was big enough for both of us and we understand each other well, so he wants to stay. This was a little scary. After a not pleasant discussion... he left.
After this I was very cautious and had a break in hosting. Since this year I m starting again slowly and for not more than 2 nights.
All my other experiences were good so far.

Interests

Meeting friends and strangers, talking to people, reading(!!! there are soooooo many good books!!!), listening to music, trying to sing:), dancing, travelling, cinema, sports (but not too exhausting....:)), writing letters (still! in the era of emails!), sleeping (very important!) and and and...

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies:
"The last unicorn":D
...I need to think about the rest. There were a few.
ok, maybe "Babel", "Gegen die Wand", "Seksmisja", "Mis" etc.

Music:
pretty much everything although most I enjoy pop (the 70's, 80's and 90's)- for example Madonna from around that time + tango nuevo. I also like Italian(like 883) and French Music.
From Polish: Marek Grechuta, Michal Bajor, Bajm, Anita Lipnicka...

Books:
(By favourite I mean the ones read more than on time):
"The little Prince" by Antoine de Saint Exupery
"1984" by George Orwell (maybe also a bit, because it is my birthyear:))
"Wie kommt das Salz ins Meer" Brigitte Schwaiger
"Liebesgedichte" B. Brecht
"Homo faber" M. Frisch
hmmm, as a Pole I should definitely also mention sth Polish...but right now nothing comes to my mind:(

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Participated in a few tango festivals, it was great!
I paid off my students loan! With my own money!!!
