About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To participate in off road race!

ABOUT ME

I am a very content and optimistic person, who always looks for the beauty in life. I love letting myself get blown away with the more simpler things in our world, but I definitely still appreciate intensely complicated and deep ideas as well. I feel most grounded when I'm close to vast amounts of nature, but still close enough to the art and culture of civilization. This is -what I feel- one of the greatest things about living in Poland.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm trying to improve my participation by hosting people right now!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've been hosted many times by people from all over the world and every single meeting was unforgettable experience... CS is uncommon opportunity to "travel around the world" during one trip to one country only by meeting CS members :)

However during that time my opinion about program was evoluating. Why?

First of all sometimes I fell that I'm not guest in sb house because she/he wants to help traveler or to get some knowledge about my country, culture or me. I'm guest because he/she feels lonely, hasn't got friend, family or somebody to talk with. Then I feel like a mascot and I believe it's not right.
Of course when I'm comming to the hosts house I understeand that he/she is doing me a favour. I preciate that so I always try to be nice and to spend some time togerher to talk and so one. Sometimes is really great, sometimes it isn't working perfect but it's normal. Anyway being a mascot means that I fell that I'm in his/her house only to listen stories of my hosts life, drink with him even if I don't want, go out when he wants, do everything that host wants. I know that hosting makes some kind of obligation but please, we are not toys. Sometimes I'm comming tired, ill or just like every humanbeing don't have great mood. Please - respect that like I respect you and don't feel resentful - everyone has bad days :)
