Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
en route a Paris!!! I will be studying law for the Fall semester at Sciences Po and thought it would be a nice adventure to spend the first month (Sept) surfing couches and getting to know parisians I hope I can keep as friends while on my exchange!!!
ABOUT ME
Outgoing, worldly and respectful! I should add that during my time in Paris I will also be quite studious and quite keen on speaking exclusively in French. I love pets, people of all ages, orientations, personality types, etc... I am endlessly curious about human nature. However I should add that I am a grounded and practical person with a well entrenched respect for rules, customs, privacy, and convictions.
PHILOSOPHY
I don't ascribe to any one in particular, I see so much truth and application in all - I think I am still growing and developing in that department!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I like to make it my mission to obliterate boredom. Life needs to be interesting, people need to feel safe with you to be open so trust is essential. Once that is established, we can share in all our intricacies. I am quite high-powered and I like to couple hard work with valuable leisure times and experiences. I look forward to learning from and about people I am still to meet, and I treasure those I already have!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have not participated yet. This will be my first time since I joined a year ago and I hope to have great memories from the experience and be able to reciprocate in the future!
Interests
I like hiking and biking - big fan of cultural events such as festivals! I love to see a city through the eyes of its natives! I also enjoy great music - music that has a profound effect on people. I also like to learn about people by asking them about their favorite films and books - our virtual and imaginary experiences are markers of ourselves to the same extent as our reality bound ones.

Music, Movies, and Books
oh boy... I don't think there is enough room so I will choose one for each:
Last movie seen and enjoyed: Polanski's Venus a la fourrure
Last song listened to: Spiderman (Ramones)
book currently read: L'ignorance (Milan Kundera)(in french)
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Teaching kids about law. It was the most inspiring part of my first year as a law student - their energy and enthusiasm coupled with innocence are invaluable!
Also, driving senior citizens to the election polls last provincial election - the elderly are so often forgotten and disregarded, but they care about and are attuned to our society more than any other age group. Please go hug your grandparents (if you are lucky enough to still have them) right NOW!
Teach, Learn, Share
I think I will have more credibility to impart after I have experienced CS. so more to come!!!
