ABOUT ME
To say I'm a Type A personality would be an understatement. I'm an ambitious, hard-working city kid that would love to run a hospital or major corporation one day. I am passionate about helping others and want to use my knowledge, skills and abilities to change Canada and the world for the better.
That being said, I need to learn how to step on the brakes and appreciate the small things in life. I'm going to Australia to learn more about myself, the world and figure out how to combine a more relaxed lifestyle with my ambitions.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I currently live with my "roommates" (AKA parents) so hosting isn't an option. I can't wait to have my own place in downtown Toronto and be able to host people. I am planning a trip to Australia at the end of October so I hope to crash on a few couches while there.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have no formal experience, but have slept on many couches at friends' apartments, cottages and houses. The best sleep I have ever had is on the couch at my buddie's condo - fabulous sleep.

Music, Movies, and Books
I love comedies and actions movies. I even watch the odd "chick flick" with my buddies. Country is my go-to music, but enjoy classic rock and love dancing to Top 40. I read anything that gets put in front of me, but really enjoy a good trashy suspense novel.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
This past spring I flew out to Halifax and spent a week on my friend's couch. The weather was awful, but I spent the one nice day of the week driving through small towns eventually making my way to Peggy's Cove, Nova Scotia. Eating a lobster club sandwich with an Alexander Keith's made the whole trip worth it.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach people about human health, the Canadian health care system, and health care in general. Want to learn about business, particularly consulting and managing people, I can do that too.
I can teach you how to hit and throw a baseball, take a slap shot and throw a rugby ball.
Or make your own salad dressing!
