Overview
About Me
Home grown in the Twin Cities with international living experience and mixed cultural roots, I have always been fascinated by the deeper truth among the seemingly confusing grey areas of life. Right now I am developing a urban farming initiative with an environmental church in Minneapolis while establishing long-term roots here. I am passionate about leading practical solutions including: permaculture design, urban farming, regenerative agriculture, deep community, generative economics, shared ownership models, interfaith dialogues, and cultural intersections.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Right now I am co-buying a house in Minneapolis with my brother, and intend to begin hosting in the near future. Since 2012 I have used Couchsurfing to build friendships and networks, during travels and while others visit. I am very proud resident of the Twin Cities, and have done a lot of local exploring especially in the food scene. I happily offer suggestions and may also be able to offer a tour upon request. Feel free to reach out!

Music, Movies, and Books
I like documentaries a lot! Nature/ travel documentaries are my favorites, but I also like many other kinds of movies. As far my interests lies with all of these I'm really open to new possibilities. Currently reading: The Emerging Ownership Revolution, and The Urban Farmer. I like all kinds of music, with electronic dance music as my favorite. I went to EDC Vegas 2016, Electric Forest 2017
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
First thing that comes to mind: In one of my various urban hiking adventures, I once hiked 23 miles in one day in Minneapolis circling all the major lakes in the city. My knees were a wee bit sore the next few days
Teach, Learn, Share
My passions for minimalism, tiny houses, local food, permaculture, cultural differences, and social dynamics make talking about any of these a stimulating conversation.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I enjoy food, food systems knowledge and would be thrilled to make a nice dish for my hosts. Having lived in a variety of settings my needs are very little and would be a great low commitment guest for hosts that just want to lay back, but thrive in explorative conversation if they're looking for someone who ambitiously engages the ideas we hold about the world.
