Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have surfed several couches, and have shown a few surfers some secret hot spots :).

Interests

Hiking, Rafting, Boating, the Ocean, live music, coffee, GOOD FOOD, train trips, animals, booze, experiencing things from a different point of view. VARIETY! There's a lot of life out there and I want to know all of it!!

Music, Movies, and Books

I love historical fiction and travel books. I don't own a TV, but if I'm renting a series, I love dry humor, like the office and arrested development. In general I like a movie that get's me laughing, although I do like a good drama/cry every once in a while :). I like all music, but especially anything that gets me moving.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I once went a month without a shower while backpacking in Alaska.

Teach, Learn, Share

I work with those with Developmental Disabilities and Schizophrenia. Surprisingly, this has resulted in some of the funniest stories ever, which I am always happy to share. I also grew up in Montana and Alaska, and people are often interested in those places.
