I’m an American who recently graduated from university, packed her whole life in a suitcase, and moved to Albania. Somehow I managed to land a dream job in the NGO world. In order for travel to become a true and consistent hobby of mine, I have to learn how to do it efficiently for my budget and time. Couchsurfing helps me accomplish this while also making new destinations approachable and not intimidating, especially as a solo traveller.
