Informazioni generali
Chi sono
Laid-back guy who mostly likes to go around and sight see during the daytime, stop off for a coffee, then have a few beers in a nice cafe in the evening.
I've just finished my job in Software Engineering, and have a bit of time before starting as a TEFL teacher in Japan, so looking to get some travelling in before moving away.
Perché sono iscritto su Couchsurfing
Completely new to the whole couchsurfing thing, but I'm planning to do a month tour of parts of Europe, so what better way to experience the cities I visit than by staying with a local?
I'm hoping I can meet some interesting people and be taught about the city and the region by the people that live there. Would be nice to have a bit of fun and go for a few beers, or do some sort of activities too.
Interessi
I'm pretty laid back and open-minded, so most things. I guess my main passion is relaxing and being in the company of good friends, or enjoying some beautiful view. Not really that much into watching sports, but am always up for trying out some activity, from badminton to bungee jumping.

Musica, film e libri
Music I'll listen to everything - it really depends on the mood and atmoshphere. Live acoustic music in a pub / cafe, House, DnB or Indie for partying, and Downtempo for listening to in the train / on a hangover.
Movies - LOTR, Ghibli movies, and stuff that really makes you think / pulls out an emotion.
Una cosa incredibile che ho fatto
Hiking in Sapa in Vietnam when it was raining, where I first of all slipped and nearly fell to, what I assumed to be, death by broken neck. This was followed by being taken out by my friend who also slipped behind me, again nearly falling off the path to death by broken neck. Saved twice by fell some lovely Sapa villagers. Unfortunately I didn't fall in love with my saviours, so there's no incredible romantic story there.
Insegna, impara, condividi
I'd like to learn about the culture and norms of the cities and countries I visit, as that's the whole point in visiting them right?
I can share my philosophies in life, some general chat, and a little dose of humour.
