ABOUT ME

i grew up in the suburbs of new york, progeny of dutch and belgian parents. most of my high school years consisted of drums, piano, soccer and physics.

i graduated college in june 2010 with a remarkable lack of anything to show for it.

afterwards i founded a health non-profit that did some work in southern africa. mainly zimbabwe. it went for about two years, until just recently. at first it was a serious disaster, but then fate ran out of twists and things started to proceed nicely!

NOW i am in medical school in new york city, and life has become very serious all of a sudden... couchsurfing in my time off will be a way to remain relaxed and be reminded of the fun and fluidity of life!
