ABOUT ME

Hello! I am Pat from the Philippines but I am teaching English in Spain. I like to stay out and immerse myself in the culture than stay inside because I think that is one of the best ways to learn as well as give back goodness the world exudes every single day.

PHILOSOPHY

I believe that doing good comes back a thousand fold; that all is well, no matter what the swell; that indeed life is beautiful and there is something to be grateful for everyday; and that one should always put others before himself.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I would love to surf-the couch and the waves, but more so host others into my home, wherever it may be.

If it’s not possible for me to host travelers and I have time, I wouldn’t mind showing them around or meeting up for a drink. Or at least providing them some tips and suggestions for their stay.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My couchsurfing experience has been more than amazing! I have met the most generous people because of this and I have learned to appreciate and make more memories from every city I've couchsurfed because of them. I love learning from and sharing cultures, and seeing a place through the eyes of someone who is from there. I also love hosting as it allows me to share what I can to others, and my love for the city I am currently staying at. I am always excited to do couchsurfing again!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Made 13 pieces of clothes from scratch on my own and had it presented in a fashion show.

Fulfilled my lifelong dream of living and studying abroad, and backpacking through 11 cities and 7 countries in Europe for a month.

From my trip to Morocco and the Sahara Dessert, I have also experienced one thing I would recommend that everyone do if they get the chance - to go outside and sleep under the thousands of stars I never thought existed!

Teach, Learn, Share

It would be a pleasure to share, teach and learn everything that I have and can. I would love to share experiences that I've had - from travelling, and life.

I would love to learn and experience many things - whatever one wants to share with me, but also specifically how to whistle, how to cook more dishes and make my own bread, and tons more that will come along the way. :)

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can teach you how to sew, make paper cranes, cook, make stamps from rubber erasers. I can teach you how to speak English, Spanish and Tagalog, if you'd like, and of course, share the wonderful Filipino culture. I am really open to many things!
