Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love staying at hostels when I travel because it's usually there where I meet awesome people. All lovely and good but I always feel like I end up just getting the touristy side of the experience and not really knowing the place nor meeting the people. I've heard of couchsurfing from friends, but I've always chickened out on surfing cos I didn't wanna feel like I'm bothering people. At long last I thought I'd give it a shot and join Couchsurfing to get to know locals (always have the best recommendations!) and to orient myself better in their cities. Doesn't hurt to gain a few friends here and there!

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm not very picky with music and am always open to listening to almost anything, I guess maybe except reggae :P I'm a cinema-goer! I guess I'm kind of a snob in the way that I'd skip on watching a movie if it was dubbed and not in it's original language. Books, I read whatever strikes my fancy.
