About Me

I'm moving so I won't be able to host for a few months.

I'm a guy from Sabadell (20-30 minutes by train to Barcelona). I'm a very open-minded, easy going and tolerant person and I love to meet people all around the world in order to learn new things, cultures, and above all, new types of music. I've travelled a lot with a van (the Wolswagen ones in which you can sleep inside) since I was a kid. I'm a musician, I teach guitar and keys and I do shows with my band for a living, so if you love music we will get along very well for sure!

After music, languages are my second passion. I speak Catalan and Spanish since ever, and I'm totally fluent in English, Portuguese and in French .

I'm a vegetarian but I'm not very strict, if I have to stay in a place where it's a problem I can adapt myself.

I'm not sure 100% that we could have hosts in our home, it depends on the time of the year, but don't hesitate to ask. We are two roommates (27 years old, one man and one woman), all of us are very outgoing people and we have a small but a lovely flat in the center of Sabadell with a very comfortable sofa-bed in which two people could sleep very well! We have the cutest dog in the whole world.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm on couchsurfing because I think that it's the best way to meet people from other parts of the world and a very ethical way to travel.

Here in Barcelona we are having a lot of problems with touristic flats and the massification of tourism. People who own a flat preffer to rent it to tourists through Airbnb or webs like that rather than rent it to the people who lives here because they earn more money. That makes that young people is forced to move away from the center of Barcelona, because the few flats that you can rent are normally very expensive. I think that Couchsurfing offers a more ethical way to travel that respects the people who live in the cities where you go, and also allows you to meet wonderful people around the world!
