About Me

CURRENT MISSION

life gives me lemmons, I make lemonade!

ABOUT ME

I'm a very active, sociable, outgoing person; I love (and need!!!) to be fullfilled with stuff to do: cultural/artistic/touristic/etc activities. I'm known for that, always a plan, cannot be still, always restless and inquiring.

PHILOSOPHY

"Happiness only real when shared"

"No regrets (but learn from experience)"

"Sólo conozco dos males reales en la vida: el remordimiento y la enfermedad" ("I only know two real evils in life: remorse and sickness")

"Para vivir honradamente es necesario desgarrarse, confundirse, luchar, equivocarse, empezar y abandonar, y de nuevo empezar y de nuevo abandonar, luchar eternamente y sufrir privaciones. La tranquilidad es una bejeza moral" ("To live honestly it's necessary to tear yourself, confuse yourself, struggle, make mistakes, start, abandon, fight eternally and suffer deprivations. Tranquility it's a moral baseness")

"Sanity is a madness put to good uses; waking life is a dream controlled" ("La cordura es una locura que se usa para bien; la vida despierta es un sueño controlado")

"¡Goza de estos momentos de felicidad, trata de que te amen, ama! No hay más verdad que esa en el mundo" ("Enjoy of this moments of happyness, try to be loved, love! There's no more truth than that in the world")

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Although I must admit that I'm far from being the most active couchsurfer (again, blessed college), I had such terrific, unbelievable experiences!!! I met the greatest people ever!
Really, from wine tastings, to random B-day parties/discos/bars, thematic parties/meals...
I found in CS a way to do really REALLY cool, different things, quite spontaneous and unexpectedly, and whithout so many worries/doubt/etc

Interests

Languages, culture, people, art, places, cooking, drinking... Almost everything! I believe that there a lot of things... too many things, that are worth knowing.
I really enjoy of good company, cool and chilled people, but very specially of off-the-schedule plans. Going with the flow, sometimes can be so great!

Music, Movies, and Books

I like movies a lot! Not in particular (there are plenty of them), but cinematography in general. Not very strict limits or bounds... Eager to know more more more!

Fell in love with Nietzsche, thanks to Philosophy classes. Because of him, also started with Freud, and enjoyed him very much!

In novels/short stories, reading a few of Bioy Casares, Borges at the moment. Auster was a good one too.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Mmmmmm, I must say that, when I was a child, I was quite taken with Brazil's joy, happiness, excitement and magnetism!!!!!!!!!! The people, WTF! What can I say??? The samba, the music, the dancing. It really made an impression on me. It's a place I'd be always delighted to visit!
On the other hand, Chichén Itzá also was a superb spot. A fine piece of workmanship... You can hardly believe how the hell they could build all that, the calculus, the science they had. The "Game of the Ball", with the echo and so, was magnificent.

Teach, Learn, Share

Mmm, I fancy cooking A LOT (when I have time, of course), and I could say that I cook very well! Like to improvise a lot!

Recently in charge with friends of "Mexican Night"... Unbelievable margaritas, tacos and guacamole!

Countries I’ve Visited

Argentina, Austria, Belgium, Brazil, Chile, Czech Republic, England, France, Germany, Italy, Mexico, Netherlands, Paraguay, Spain, United States, Uruguay, Venezuela

Countries I’ve Lived In
