Overview
About Me
I'm an all around easygoing, courteous, and friendly guy that enjoys everything life has to offer. When I travel I'm always in search of local food and dishes, and learning the traditional ways of preparing them. My current travel list includes Peru, Indian, Lithuania, Instanbul, Mongolia, and Beirut.
I enjoy spending time with my friends, but also like having quite time at home where I can cook a nice dinner and watch a movie until I can't hold my eyes open. I love dogs, and had owned four chickens for the past three years.
Life would be perfect if I could start everyday with a cup of coffee in the sun!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
For the past several years I've been traveling all over the world. I love visiting all types of places, from big cities to rural towns. I find getting a sense of how a place is and how people live their everyday life has helped me learn so much, not just about others, but myself. I'm new to couchsurfing, but I looked forward to building my experience to achieve a deeper connection with a place and the people that live there; a unique opportunity that I would not otherwise have. I'm always looking for travel companions that have an interest in diving into local cuisine!
Interests
This is a tough one. I find myself curious about almost everything. Hiking, geography, maps, homebrewing, drumming, cooking, cocktails, and coffee are a few.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music has played a significant part of my life. I've played drums for over a decade. It's given me a great appreciation for all types of music. Instrumental post-rock is my go to, but I also enjoy styles from the early to mid 20th century, hip-hop, folk, indie, and blues. It really depends on my mood, time of day, and place.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
In 2014, I helped start EDIA, Inc., a map publishing company focusing on niche maps. An acronym for Everyday is an Adventure, our maps are our way of helping people explore areas near and far! A few years after our launch I was able to quit my 9-5 job and turn my life in a new direction.
