HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I meetup with people at events and try to give and get advice. I've given information about Anchorage and hosted before as well.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've had several great surf experiences and one great hosting experience. I've met up with several people for coffee/beer as well as group meetups. I've also gotten a lot of great local advice that is hard to get elsewhere. It's all been really good!

兴趣

I'm interested in lots of things, expecially culture as it's one of the most interesting thing about traveling. I'm also interested in entrepreneurship, web development, remote work, areal photography, dancing, hiking, camping, traveling, building flying machines out of junk, statistics.

I've enjoyed reading Harry Potter, and other classics, I've read some success books but I mainly read articles on economics, entrepreneurship and business these days.

I did a solo, 140.6 mile triathlon across Alaskan mountains and rivers in the summer of 2011.

I want to learn the ins and outs of different places. I'm learning web development. I know some basic economic and business principals that are poorly illustrated by mass media. I've done a bit of business consulting and could do some preliminary consulting for those interested in starting or optimizing a business.
