I'm a 24 year old Belgian who loves to travel and meet new, like minded people. I have a passion for photography, which I study.
I am currently working on a photography project on fishing along the Mekong, I am slowly making my way to the Delta where that project will end. It all started in Hong Ngu where I also worked as a photographer for a Belgian association teaching swimming to local children : www.facebook.com/bibitheseal/
For me it is important to meet locals and live different, more authentic experiences and relationships. Because it pushes me to go outside of my comfort zone and because it creates lasting memories. During my journey I had the chance to meet and spend time with fishermen, farmers, bakers, teachers, and even though sometimes communication was hard or impossible, I cherish those moments the most.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Couchsurfing allows you to meet locals, which are the essence of the place you visit. I feel like you haven't truly visited a country, if you haven't met someone that's from there. It is also a great way for me to grow as a person, share knowledge and good times with complete strangers, I thrive on that.

Interests

I have a passion for the outdoors, which makes it very frustrating to live in a city like Brussels which doesn't offer many nature related activities. Thus I try and travel as much as possible.
