My name is Paul and I am 25 years old. I am originally from the Basque Country (in the north of Spain) but now living in Golden, Colorado, completing my engineering masters studies at Colorado School of Mines.

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

I love travelling and discovering new places, people, cultures...
As I am living in Colorado for a year, I want to discover the US as much as possible... but what does discoverying really mean..?
I believe that if you really want to explore new countries and how live is in there, is essential to get to know the people! And that is why I am in couchsurfing. I really prefer to meet locals wherever I go rather than staying in a hotel on my own.
I have used couchsurfing in the past, but that was a long time ago and I forgot my password, that is why I had to create this new profile when I cameto the US.

Música, películas y libros

There are just too many to pick up favorites but I will try to mention some that I really like.

Music: I love a lot of different music styles, but mainly rock (I know this is very wide), and specially punkrock. For example, bands like the clash, social distortion, hertzainak or brigada criminal... I like folk/country singers too, for example, I really love Bob Dylan or Steve Earle.

Cinema: 12 angry men, Stand by me, Trainspotting, Fight Club, Good Will Hunting, Dead Poets Society... I just came up with those but there are so many films that I like.

Series: The Simpsons, Breaking bad, Mindhunter, MadMen, Monk, Dark, True Detective, Fargo,

Books: The catcher in the rye, the outsiders, little boy blue...

Mmm... come to study and live in an American university?
Probably not that incredible for the CS community here but for me it was a dream come true.
