Thoughtful, witty, quiet yet friendly person who loves any and all performing arts. Also a museum fan. Grew up in Theater and still connected to it through GuyWriters, a writer's theater group in San Francisco.

Recently finished about a decade of public and civic service: recently finished second term as Chairman of the Global Community Advisory Board for AIDS Clinical Trial Group Network, a 19 member-country medical consortium. Also finished third term as Chairman of the UCSF Ward 84 Clinical Trial Unit's advisory board. And one term as Co-Chair of the ANCHOR Study Advisory Board.

Was appointed by Gavin Newsom and served a five-year term advising the San Francisco Human Rights Commission on the LGBT Advisory Committee.

Outside of humanitarian an civic duty, I write plays, teach playwriting, Shakespeare and theater throughout the state.

My favorite thing is to laugh. Hard.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Am preparing for a sabbatical and am looking for places to stay as I finish a project I took on after I had left my apartment.

Also, looking to set things up for when I return.
