About Me

I love my hometown of freo, but it's time to get out and explore a bit - and I've wanted to do it by bike for the last few years so I'm finally getting on to it! Lots of fun so far and I've been staying with hosts from "warm showers" (a couch surfing app for cyclists) which has been great also!

Currently traveling the south island of new zealand - i don't have an itinerary or a return ticket which is a total luxury for Australian tourists in this country! I packed up my life in freo for now so i won't be able to host for a while until I'm back there and in a place of my own - but when i am, I'd be happy to host!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm looking for people to meet and places to stay along the way. It feels like a much more social way to travel, and a way to get a feel for a place much better than staying in a campsite... I'm travelling solo too so it's an easy way to meet people!

Music, Movies, and Books

I haven't updated the music on my phone for a while.. but the last new music i cottoned on to was an Australian woman who is awesome and i can't remember her name.. My old favourites are the drones and radiohead - i never tire of their music.

I didn't read much at home (never made the time between projects) but i just read 'on the move' an autobiography by oliver sacks which was pretty great. And I've started on the road by jack kerouac (for obvious reasons).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Riding on a trail called 'Munda Biddi' in the south west of WA. Pretty spectacular and remote and awesome.

Teach, Learn, Share

I love tinkering and i love learning. I can give some bicycle maintenance/fixing/general tips. . Same with handyman type things.. etc

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can; cook a pretty mean omelet; I'm no stranger to doing dishes; I'm alright company; and i understand social norms.
