About Me

I am currently studying physics in Göttingen and try to keep an open mind. I spent the year between my Bachelors and Masters studies visiting some other parts of the world, which was a wonderful experience and made me want to keep exploring other peoples lifestyles, environment and cultures from time to time.

I enjoy the life in a shared students flat, since it gives many opportunities to cook together, play a game or just hangout.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

During my stay in New Zeland I got to know some interesting people via CS-meetups. I also love to spend holidays by meeting and helping people via workaway. I haven't tried it out so far but i guess Couchsurfing is somewhat comparable, so definitely worth to look into ;).

Interests

I love to see new places and to learn new things. Also, I am into sports in general, so if you suggest a bike trip, canoeing, playing basketball, disk golfing or anything else which includes motion to me, you can count me in.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music groups I enjoyed so far: Muse, Linkin Park, Haken, Dream Theater, The Piano Guys, Two Cellos, Bodo Wartke, Peter Fox, Herbie Hancock, Caravan Palace, Prokofiev, Schostakovitch and many more through the genres, please no German Schlager though.
Books: I am a fan of fantasy. If you are one as well, I recommend Peter V. Brett's Painted Man Saga or Brandon Sandersons Mistborn trilogy.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Together with more than 20.000 brass players, split in three choirs, I made music across the river Elbe.

Teach, Learn, Share

If you have a trumpet at hand, I'd be glad to teach you how to play it. Also i am currently becoming a canoe teacher - my university is great ;).

What I Can Share with Hosts

My humble company and time. I also like to cook ;).

Countries I’ve Visited

Austria, England, France, Italy, Luxembourg, Poland, Sweden, Switzerland, United States

Countries I’ve Lived In
