Sobre Mim

I am a passionate truth seeker. I strongly believe in peace, love, breaking boundaries, and questioning knowledge and conventional wisdom. I believe free food, water, and housing needs to be a human right, and that no human or animal deserves to ever go through any unnecessary suffering. I believe in equality for all, and giving people a chance. I believe in a world free of disease and poverty where free energy technology is commonplace. I believe in a world where creativity, compassion, justice, and understanding reigns supreme.

I do not follow any religion, but I do strongly believe in a spiritual reality, and that there are many forces working behind the scenes to help us, including those off-planet.

I am very passionate about the arts, particularly music, and am very selective. I mostly listen to a lot of 60's/70's psychedelic rock, folk, jazz, blues, reggae, classical. I especially like the more experimental music that came out of the 60's and 70's. On the subject of Pink Floyd, I mostly prefer everything pre-1973, especially the Syd Barrett era, "The Piper at the Gates of Dawn" being my favorite album. Syd Barrett's probably my favorite guitarist of all time along with Jimi Hendrix.

Not much a fan of modern music, with very few exceptions. Aphex Twin, Radiohead, early Modest Mouse, Animal Collective, MGMT, and Tame Impala (first 2 albums) are some examples. I do like old-school hip-hop. In regards to modern hip-hop, I'm a big fan of Madlib's work.

I don't play guitar much, I'm still learning. Let's just say my current environment and my condition haven't been conducive to learning. I plan on living with my best friend who is currently in Atlanta, Georgia (though neither of us want to live there) once I have the money. He said he'd help teach me guitar, and we've been wanting to start a band for 5 years now. I hear a lot of music in my head that I unfortunately haven't been able to get down, as it is beyond my current capabilities.

I try to eat as vegan a diet as possible, so that's another thing I'm big on.

I'm very excited at the prospect of meeting new people. I think that's all I've got to say for now. Feel free to send me a message, so that we can start a conversation! :)

Fair warning, I can be quite talkative. Feel free to let me know if I am.

Por que estou no Couchsurfing?

I am currently seeking housing to stay in Charlottesville, Virginia for 5 days, since I will be arriving in the area by Greyhound Wednesday, November 9th. I'm seeking healing for many issues at the local Tachyon Healing Chamber clinic in Waynesboro, Virginia: https://tachyoncounseling.com/

You can read my story on my GoFundMe page: https://www.gofundme.com/pauls-chronic-ear-pain-fund/

Feel free to ask questions. If it'd make you feel more comfortable, I can pay to get my account Verified, although I would prefer to save the $60 towards my travel expenses. I'm completely fine with either way, because I want both of us to feel safe and relaxed. I want a comfortable, peaceful, and healing environment, because, let's just say my living situation has been the exact opposite of that, and it's something I am also trying to heal from.

I am planning to stay for 5 days, but can stretch things longer if we find ourselves getting along and having a good time. Just the number of days I will have sessions at the clinic will be 5, and I am also planning to travel to somewhere else to have additional healing sessions with another healing modality.

I also need help getting a ride to and from Waynesboro during the course of these 5 days, because I just realized it is half an hour away, and for a round-trip through Uber or Lyft, which costs $80 per day, this would mean paying a total of $360! This is a bit much, don't you think? I am totally fine with paying you gas money, though, and would gladly fill your tank up all the way.

Books are wonderful, but it's going to take me a while to get back into them due to my OCD. But I do prefer the classics. Too many to list.

Uma Coisa Incrível que Eu Fiz

Made this profile! haha Well, no, let's see. I won the super grand prize in an art contest when I was 12 for a popular Flash animated web series at the time called Making Fiends, which was later made into a brief Nickelodeon show.

Ensine, Aprenda, Compartilhe

I'm very HUGE on sharing music. Cooking together would be wonderful, too. I have experience working for my chef friend who owns a catering business.

O Que Posso Compartilhar com Anfitriões

I'm very HUGE on sharing music. I can prepare vegan meals, and wash all the dishes, too, although fair warning, I'm a bit on the slow side. I'm also down for any chores that need to get done.
