Overview
About Me
I'm one of the myriad of aspiring musicians moving down to Nashville to try my luck at doing this for a living. I'm first and formost a singer-songwriter, but I'm also developing as a self taught producer, drummer, guitarist, pianist, and hopefully more.
To pay bills, I've been relegated to the service industry. I don't really mind that so much, because I love the hours of a bartender (not every profession allows you to sleep past noon without feeling like a bum), but, ideally, I'd love to be paid for my artistic talents.
I'm somewhat traveled. I spent 6 months in Panama in high school, did my undergrad in Ontario, Canada, and then taught English for a year in Kyoto, Japan. Moving around a lot on my own is probably the only reason I could feel comfortable making such a spontaneous move down south.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I want time to look for my first apartment, because I want to make sure its the perfect neighborhood. I'd like to surf for a few weeks to meet and spend time with real Nashville folks. They'll know all the good spots to live and to hang.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I accidentally cut off a little part of my finger one morning at work while trying to prepare cocktail lime wedges for the bar. But I still played guitar and sang at my show that same night. I had to super glue the cut.
Teach, Learn, Share
Ummmm, is this the box that's supposed to make me look deep? I'm deep dude...believe that...I'm super deep.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I'm not sure. I'm brand new to this, and honestly, I should have filled out this profile months ago but I'm such a procrastinator. I can share stories, I roll cigarettes, and I can definitely pitch some cash to contribute to a host house activity.
In the near future, I'll make good on my karma by hosting, but as a beginner on this site, I'm open to sharing anything I can to show gratitude.
