About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Becoming a world citizen, convinced that this world is changing and can be changed !

ABOUT ME

I'm a 24 year-old French guy who can't stay in the same place for a long time. So, I need to move, to experience new things, to discover countries, and to meet people. To sum it up: to be a couchsurfer!

PHILOSOPHY

Take every opportunity to have an amazing life and don't wait for the good times because it will be too late; and most of all, do not listen people who say you are crazy because maybe it's actually true! ;)

Why host me ?

That's true, except some Airbnb and hostel stays over Europe and a few months trip in Australia 4 years ago with some couchsurfing experiences, I'm an occasional traveller who love trips and meet new people in order to learn from other cultures and to share new experiences. I'm a friendly and happy person who finds it easy to connect and get along with people.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Beyond the financial aspect which is often the first engine, Couchsurfing is interesting for many other aspects:
- to meet people whom I would probably never have known otherwise and who are not French.
- to know better the local culture: by staying with a couchsurfer, immersion in the country is quite different. I want to discover the best things that the city I visit can offer, thanks to a non-commercial look: the host will introduce his city differently than the tour guides who offer the same itinerary for everyone. My host will probably also have some tips and tricks that I would not find anywhere else.
- to improve my English level : on the tourist paths, everything is generally done to get by without too much trouble. Being hosted in someone's home, the absence of exchanges seems complicated and communication is necessary;
- to discover new flavors. With globalization and multiculturalism, you can find just about every type of dish in every big city in the world, and sometimes it's hard to find a dish that's truly local. Sleeping in someone's home is also about sharing meals. Obviously, I will be happy to cook a typical French dish to my host and hope that he will also make me discover the flavors of his region.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

My dad and my brother are both hot air balloons pilots and we participate, each year, to several competitions in France and abroad. For example, I've participated to all Hot Air Balloon Nationals since 2013 and to international competions and meetings like the Junior Worlds in Lithuania in 2016 as a navigator.
