Perché sono iscritto su Couchsurfing

I like being on couchsurfing, because it gives me the opportunity not only to meet interesting people but also to see city's and places from a locals point of view. I have already met a lot of intereting people from around the world, I would have never met, if I stayed in a hostel or a B&B.
Besides I like to travel cheap and save the money for further trips. My claims are not very high anyway. I need a couch or a mattrasse to sleep on and if possible a hotplatte to cook.
Everyone who is fine with this is welcomed to stay at my place.

Musica, film e libri

In terms of music I am pretty open minded. However, I do like blues, rnb, country and classical music. Music is part of my personality somehow.
As for films: let's talk about about Quantin Trentino, the birdman, American psycho, the godfather, fight club and bud Spencer. The more individual a movie is made, the more interesting I find it.
My reading interest changes everytime I read a new book. However, a book that inspired me for quite a whie was the trilogy of Philipp Pullmann "The golden Compass". Now I'm pretty into Austrian writers.

Una cosa incredibile che ho fatto

I have once visited Northern Ireland over Christmas. I stayed in Belfast on the 25th of December and literally had a city for my own. No one was on the streets. As it was a pretty warm day, I was walking around the city in shorts enjoying the empty streets. On Boxing day I intended to watch a game of football. It turned out I was attending a Belfast derby between a Catholic and a Prostetant team: Crusaders FC vs. Cliftonville. It wasn't a hostile atmosphere at all, but you could feel tension in the air.
